http://portrait.kaar.at/200Deutsche/images/johann_friedrich_blumenbach.jpgThe term Caucasoid was introduced in XVIII century by Johann Blumenbach, a biology scientific who had a collection of human scalps. One of them, which had been collected from the European region of Caucasus, seemed to him more beautiful and perfect than the rest. Since then, and without any other explanation, European and those people with European ancestors got the denomination of “Caucasoid”.
