2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup peanut butter
In a heavy medium sized saucepan, without the stove burner turned on, stir together the sugar, cocoa and salt until they are well mixed.
Put the pan on the stove burner.
Add milk and butter. Turn the burner on to a medium heat. Start stirring the milk, butter, and the mixed dry ingredients.
Stir constantly until mixture reaches a full boil. Be very carefull, the pan is hot, and so is the liquid.
Turn off the stove burner. Remove the pan from the burner.
Now you can carefully add to the liquid in the pan, the peanut butter, vanilla and the oatmeal.
Stir until all the ingredients are thouroughly mixed,and the mixture is a thickend dough. Drop with spoon on wax paper lined cookie sheet you may use a smaller spoon to help push the dough from the table spoon to the wax paper.
Chill in the refrigerator.
