Recipes

The Women of WAU have spent a lot of time compiling and sharing both traditional and modern recipes with fellow comrades. We all know that a good recipe can be difficult to find at times (especially when you need it most!) so we have chosen to create a library of sorts, filled with a wide variety of recipes, many of which we ourselves have tried and have since become family favorites.

Our thanks to those who have sent in their wonderful recipes; please continue submitting and sharing, we look forward to seeing this section expand with time. Enjoy!

No Cook Holiday Mints

June 27th, 2009 by Homefront Posted in Kid friendly |  No Comments »

This is a no-cook recipe the children can mix with their hands. Flavor it with any of the liquid flavorings in the supermarket, such as strawberry and lemon. If you want, you can instead divide it into three portions and add a few drops of food coloring to tint it yellow, red, and green. Then knead a small amount of flavoring into each one.
